This walkthrough covers creating an agent end-to-end from the web app. By the end you’ll have an active agent that runs automatically when inventory is uploaded.
You need a Pro Max plan and either the OWNER or ADMIN role on the workspace.

Prerequisites

  • A Pro Max workspace (upgrade here if you’re not there yet).
  • At least one supplier or inventory file uploaded already — agents work best when there’s something to look at.

1. Open the Agents tab

In the left sidebar, click Agents (between Inventory and Developers). If you don’t see it, your plan doesn’t include agents — the page will show an upgrade card. Agents tab in sidebar

2. Create the agent

1

Click + New Agent

The create form is a single page with three sections: identity & goal, scope & schedule, rules + channels + limits.
2

Identity & goal

Give the agent a name (e.g. “Booking.com hygiene”) and a goal in plain English (e.g. “Keep our Booking.com inventory matched. Propose candidates for any unmatched rows and alert me weekly on coverage.”).
3

Scope & schedule

Narrow what the agent can see — by supplier, region, or source. Leave the cron schedule empty for event-only mode, or set one (e.g. 0 9 * * 1 for Monday 9am).
4

Rules, channels & limits

Pick a starter template or tweak the defaults: which triggers fire, max candidates per unmatched row, where to send notifications, and the daily spend cap (default $5/day).
5

Save as draft

Click Save. The agent lands in DRAFT state — no cycles run until you activate.

3. Activate

Click Activate in the agent header. The status pill flips to ACTIVE. The agent is now listening for triggers.

4. See the first cycle

Upload a small inventory CSV (or trigger a mapping job manually). Within ~60 seconds the Runs tab should show a new entry. Click it for the full step timeline — every LLM request, tool call, and result. First run timeline

5. Review pending items

If the agent proposed any matches or escalated anything, they’ll appear in the Pending tab. Acknowledge, resolve, or dismiss each item.
